How Much Do Custom Takeout Menus Cost?

What you actually pay — and what changes the price.

Every restaurant owner asks the same question before ordering menus: how much is this going to cost? It is a fair question, and it deserves a straight answer. The prices below are the current specials, plain and simple, with no hidden fees. Free custom design is included, the menus are printed full color on both sides, and shipping is free to restaurants in 17 states. What follows is exactly what you pay, what is included, and the few things that can change the total — so you can plan your order with no surprises.

The current specials prices, plain and simple

Here are the current winter 2026 specials for 11×17 takeout menus,                printed on heavy 80lb glossy paper:  2,500 menus — $895  5,000 menus — $1,395 10,000 menus — $1,895 25,000 menus — $2,495 Smaller runs start at 1,000 menus, prices vary by size. These are check-by-phone prices, which means you call or text to lock in your order and your price. Prices are subject to change without notice, so it pays to ask while the specials are running. Whether you run a pizza shop, a BBQ joint, a Thai restaurant, or a diner, these are the same prices for the same menu — the price does not change with the kind of food you serve.

2

What is included in the price

The price covers the whole job. Free custom design is included — the design team builds your menu from scratch and never uses templates. Your menus are printed full color on both sides, then trimmed and folded, and shipped free to your restaurant if you are in one of the 17 free-shipping states. There is no separate design fee and no separate shipping charge hiding in the total. A sushi restaurant gets the same deal as a steakhouse: design, printing, folding, and free shipping, all in the one price. That is why the specials are easy to compare — the number you see is the number you plan around.

3

What changes the price

Four things move the price up or down. First, how many menus you print — more menus cost more in total but less per menu. Second, the menu size — the specials above are for 11×17 menus, and other sizes are priced with a custom quote. Third, the fold you choose — bi-fold, tri-fold, or 4-fold are all part of the standard job, while the coupon fold has its own rule (see below). Fourth, whether you add EDDM mailing. Mailing is optional, and the postage is separate: 26 cents per piece as of July 2026, paid at the post office when you drop the menus off. The printing price itself does not change when you add mailing — only the postage is extra.

4

Why more menus cost less per menu

Printing works the same way buying food in bulk does: the more you order at once, the lower the cost of each one. That is why 25,000 menus cost far less than ten separate orders of 2,500. If your restaurant goes through menus steadily — a busy pizzeria, a diner that mails menus every season, a BBQ place with a big delivery area — a larger run usually saves real money over the year. One fold choice depends on quantity: the coupon fold, which adds a strip of coupons right on the menu, is only offered on orders of 10,000 or more. If you want coupons on a smaller run, ask about printing them as a separate piece, or step up to the 10,000 run and let the menu itself bring customers back.

How to get your exact total

The fastest way to your exact number is a call or a text. The specials are check-by-phone prices, so call or text 646-721-1569 and say how many menus you need and what size and fold you want. If you need a different size, a different paper, fewer than 2,500 menus, or more than 25,000, ask for a custom quote — other sizes and quantities are always available. Tell the team where your restaurant is, too: if you are outside the 17 free-shipping states, there is a small extra shipping charge, and they will give you the exact total before you commit to anything. No guessing, no surprises.

Where to start

Start by counting how many menus you use in a normal month, then pick the run size that covers three to six months without running out. Call or text 646-721-1569 with that number, your menu size, and your fold choice, and you will have your exact total the same day. If you plan to mail menus, ask about EDDM at the same time so the postage is in your plan from the start.
